Ankle-high slippers worked in stranded colourwork, with a ribbed cuff finished in i-cord.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThey are knitted toe-up from a winding cast on, with the toe shaped by increases and the foot worked from a chart. Waste yarn goes in to create an afterthought ankle opening, the heel is shaped with decreases and grafted closed, and the shape of the slipper only reveals itself when the waste yarn comes out.
