The Novice Sweater - Mohair Edition by PetiteKnit is the perfect introduction to sweater knitting — soft, lightweight and effortlessly elegant. This top‑down design features a circular yoke, gentle shaping and a simple, wearable silhouette that works beautifully for everyday layering.
To make this beginner project even more approachable, we’ve adapted the yarn choice. While the original pattern uses two strands held together, this kit uses a single strand of Mode at Rowan Mohair Soft (Kidsilk‑style yarn).
✨ The result is a beautifully airy fabric with the same soft halo, but simpler to knit and easier to manage, a substitution we’ve tested and love.
The sweater is worked:
- From the neck down
