At The Orry Mill, our relaxed knitting and crochet classes offer friendly, expert guidance for all skill levels. Whether you’re picking up needles or a hook for the first time, refining your technique, or simply need a bit of help with your project, our drop‑in sessions provide flexible support whenever a space is available.
How Our Classes Work
Most of our weekly classes are filled by returning students who attend through set block bookings, which secure their space each month at a discounted rate. As a result, drop‑in availability varies depending on the week.
If you can’t commit to a regular schedule, or you’re looking for occasional guidance rather than a monthly block, our drop‑in option lets you join us on a flexible basis whenever a space opens up.
Weekly Class Schedule (Availability Varies)
Most spaces are reserved by returning block‑booking students, so some class times may have limited or no drop‑in availability. When you go to book, you’ll only see the sessions that still have spaces remaining.
- Monday 19:00–20:30 – Good chance of availability
- Tuesday 10:00–11:30 – Fully Booked (drop-in spaces rarely available)
- Tuesday 18:30–20:00 – Fully Booked (drop-in spaces rarely available)
- Wednesday 10:00–11:30 – Good chance of availability
- Thursday 10:00–11:30 – Occasional spaces
- Thursday 19:00–20:30 – Fully Booked (drop-in spaces rarely available)
- Friday 10:00–11:30 – Occasional spaces

Discounts apply automatically when you book multiple classes:
- 2 classes – 5% off
- 3 classes – 10% off
- 4 classes – 16% off

Materials aren’t included but can be purchased before or during your session. You're also welcome to visit us in advance to choose a project and chat through your goals.
