How do place an order

Placing an order with The Orry Mill is easy! Here’s how you can do it:

1. Online Orders

You can browse and shop directly on our website at theorrymill.co.uk. Here’s the step-by-step process:

1. Browse Products: Explore our categories, including yarns, patterns, kits, and accessories.

2. Select Items: Click on the item you like, choose options like colour or quantity, and click Add to Cart.

3. Review Your Cart: Once you're ready, click the shopping cart icon to review your selected items.

4. Checkout: Click Checkout and fill in your details, including delivery information.

5. Payment: Complete your purchase securely using your preferred payment method.

6. Confirmation: You’ll receive an email confirmation once your order is placed.

2. In-Store Shopping

Visit us at The Orry Mill if you prefer to shop in person. We are always on hand to help you find exactly what you need, offer advice, and answer any questions.

What are your shipping options and costs?

Shipping

All orders are shipped with Royal Mail and our shipping rates are based on the weight of your order.

We do our best to ship out your order as soon as possible. This usually means within 24 hours after receipt, however occasionally it can take a little longer.

You will receive a shipping confirmation e-mail when your order is posted. 

UK Customers

Standard delivery

We use Royal Mail 2nd Class for all our standard UK & CI orders the price is £3.99 for orders below £45 or FREE for orders over £45.

We reserve the right to upgrade any delivery to Royal Mail 1st class or Tracked 48 service at no extra cost.

Orders will arrive within a couple of days. However, please allow 10 working days for delivery (this is a time limit imposed by the delivery companies, not ourselves). Please note that these orders can be sent to all postcodes in the UK (which includes Northern Ireland).

Express delivery

We use Royal Mail Tracked 24 for all our express UK & CI orders the price is £4.99

Please note: We cannot guarantee next day delivery. Whilst we ensure that our orders are despatched promptly to the carrier, there may be delays with the courier service that are outside of our control.

International Customers

All international orders are sent using Royal Mail Tracked service and the shipping charge is based on the weight of your order.

 

USA

Standard International •   0 kg - 1 kg • 3 to 17 business days $12.00 USD

Standard International •   1 kg - 2 kg • 3 to 17 business days $17.00 USD

 

EU

 It takes 3-5 working days to EU. Rest of Europe is 5-7 working days 

Customs Charges

Customers outside the UK may be liable for taxes, duties and import fees. As the buyer you are responsible for these charges and they are usually requested prior to delivery by the postal service in your country.

Yes we do.  We ship to US, Canada, Aus, and EU

How long does delivery take?

Once your product has shipped, it usually takes 2 to 3 business days in UK, 3 to 8 business days to Europe. and approximately 5 to 10 business days for USA and the rest of the world. 

My order was marked delivered but its not here

If no one was home at the time of delivery, the carrier may leave the package in a safe location.

Be sure to check around your home and with neighbors/building management who may have collected the package for you.

Also, please double-check the shipping address of your order (in the order confirmation email) to ensure it’s headed to the right location.

On some occasions, packages may be marked as delivered but take additional time to arrive.

If you still are unable to locate the package, please reach out to the carrier.

Can I edit or add anything to my order?

Once an order is placed, we are unable to make changes to the order. However, if you need to update your shipping address or contact information, please contact our customer service team immediately after placing your order.

How do I cancel my order?

You will have the option to cancel your order within your confirmation email. You may also contact our customer service team at info@theorrymill.co.uk or by asking our Chat function on our website. Please include your order number and the reason for cancellation in your message.

Orders can only be canceled before they have been dispatched. If your order has already been shipped, please refer to our return policy for further instructions.
