Bramble & Fleece Settle Tank - Knitting Kit
Designed by Bramble & Fleece
A cabled V-neck slipover worked in Bramble & Fleece Sheepsoft 4 Ply, with set-in style armholes that give it a tailored line. A piece to layer over a shirt or wear on its own.
Settle shares its cable pattern and fine 36-stitch gauge with the Malham Sweater, so the two make a natural pair if you want a matching set, and the slipover is the quicker of the two to finish.
Sheepsoft 4 Ply blends soft British Bluefaced Leicester with hardier Masham. The Masham goes in undyed and the Bluefaced Leicester dyed, which is what gives every shade its heathered depth rather than a flat tone. Fleece, scouring, spinning and dyeing all happen within fifty miles of each other in West Yorkshire.
Skill Level: Easy (Adventurous beginners) ★★ (2 out of 5)
Simple stitches throughout, but a mis-crossed cable is fiddly to unpick at this fine a gauge, so a little knitting confidence helps.
Sizes: XS (S: M: L: XL: XXL), to fit chest 71-76 (81-86: 91-97: 102-107: 112-117: 122-127) cm, or 28-30 (32-34: 36-38: 40-42: 44-46: 48-50) in.
