A V-neck slipover worked in two strands of Bramble & Fleece Sheepsoft DK held together, with a ribbed hem, armbands and neck trims. A layering piece over a shirt or a fine-gauge sweater.

Holding the DK double takes the yarn up to a chunky 16-stitch tension, so the tank grows fast. The doubled strands give a dense, sculptural fabric that holds the V-neck shape well.

Sheepsoft DK blends soft British Bluefaced Leicester with hardier Masham. The Masham goes in undyed and the Bluefaced Leicester dyed, which gives every shade its heathered depth rather than a flat tone.
