The children's version of the Niels Sweater, using the same top-down construction. The upper back yoke is shaped with short rows and increases, the shoulders are built from picked-up stitches, and the rest of the yoke joins in the round. Body and sleeves are worked in the round (sleeves on double-pointed needles or with Magic Loop), finishing with a folded, double-knit ribbed neck edge.

For example, a 62 cm chest corresponds to size 6-7 years, which has a finished chest circumference of 82 cm — giving 20 cm of ease in that example.
