A fitted, collared polo-style top knitted top-down. The upper back yoke is shaped with increases, then the shoulders are worked from picked-up stitches. Stitches are picked up along the shoulder edges so the whole yoke sits on one circular needle, worked back and forth first with sleeve increases and then raglan increases. Front plackets are worked in double knitting from picked-up stitches before the body is joined and worked in the round. Sleeves are worked in the round on double-pointed needles or with the Magic Loop technique, and can be knitted long or short. A close-fitting ribbed collar finishes the neckline, and the polo closes with three buttons.
Knit a gauge swatch and wash it before measuring, to confirm your needle size gives the correct gauge.

Petra Polo is designed with approx. 2 cm of positive ease. Sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) correspond to a bust measurement of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. For example, a 90 cm bust corresponds to size S, which has a finished bust circumference of 92 cm — giving 2 cm of ease in that example.

Suggested Material: 250-275 (275) 275 (300) 300 (325) 325 (350) 350 (375) g Cashmere by Sandnes Garn (25 g = 110 m) or Cashmere Classic by Cardiff Cashmere (25 g = 112 m) or Cashmere Premium by Lang Yarns (25 g = 115 m). For short sleeves, reduce the total by approx. 25–50 g. Plus 3 buttons (15 mm).
