Description
Lace Bat - Knitting Kit
Designed by Knitting for Olive
Lace Bat is a simple oversized dress featuring fluttering lace sleeves. The dress is worked with either 1 strand of Pure Silk.
The sleeves are worked first. You follow the chart for the lace pattern and then shape the sleeves with German short rows. Afterwards you cast on new stitches with Provisional cast-on method and work the yoke from the middle of the dress up to the neckline. After the yoke is finished, the held Provisional stitches are picked up and the skirt worked from the top down. The length of the skirt can easily be adjusted, and the dress can also be turned into a top or tunic instead.
